What you get

An AI bot your employees can ask anything — in Slack, Microsoft Teams, or a web bar — that pulls answers from your internal documentation, HR policies, runbooks, code, ticket history, and the rest of your internal substrate. Each answer cites its sources. Permissions are identity-aware: an employee sees only what their role allows.

What makes it different

Most 'enterprise search' tools index everything and hope. Sidekick Ask reads with permissions. If a junior employee asks about a comp decision their role can't see, the bot doesn't surface it — but tells them who can answer. If an engineer asks about a runbook, they get the runbook plus the most-recent runs that touched it. The substrate is governed, not just indexed.
